I know it has been said before.
But you guys are great, esqappellate Patrick and Krucam.
Thank you.
Curious to see if Gansler asks for an extension. I know its bad form, but so is everything else they have done post-Woollard. Why stop now?
You're 100 percent correct. This is the only thread I view on a daily basis, and those guys are a tremendous help when it comes to understanding the case. Thanks guys.
Thanks! so the briefs will be in by July, when can we expect to have oral arguments? or am I a little early to be asking this question?
It's fun to speculate. Guesstimate: 3-6 months after the last brief is filed. Closer to 3 than to 6. The Fourth is faster than most circuits.
Sounds right. They get their new clerks in the summer. arguments pick up in the fall. Judges take vacations tooSo maybe about Octoberish to January-like, speculatively guessing?
Done!Any voodoo types able to throw a spell of Writer's Block on them?
Enough, for me...
MY HAND!!! Wrong doll, mister!
If MD is returning pre-stay apps, (and only IF that is true)...them my suggestion would be that those whose interviews have not occurred put them off as long as possible. Reschedule even.
You want to keep your app open as long as possible until you see if Legg grants the stay. If he does you'll be in the best shape. But if he doesn't, no harm your in same boat as others who will be going to the board and possible legal action.
Not a lawyer...but seems like the next step in the game.
But here is the thing. Yes, you may only go to the bank once each week. But the bad guy does not know that. Your the business owner and as the business owner the bad guy thinks you always have money.
So if this is true (and it is), Your ALWAYS in greater danger just because your the business owner.
Because the danger is not to the subject of the Kingdom of Maryland, the danger is to the cash money that can be taxed by the Kingdom of Maryland.
"The court discourages motions for extension of time and grants extensions of the briefing schedule only in extraordinary circumstances upon a showing of good cause"
So...
If Gansler, et al want to tapdance, they'll have to :::ahem::: show G&S???
Hoe many times did you turn in your homework early?
Or at all?
