    why limit it to 3 days.

    Seems legal for the whole archery season.

    Edit: the medieval one shoots a 1000 grain bolt at 180 fpss. With the right broadhead, no doubt that heavy bolt will kill a deer.

    I shot plenty of deer with sub190 fps cedars with Bodkin or Zwickey heads-both longbow and recurve-deer were just as dead as any I have shot with modern bows---you don't need a heavy arrow to pass thru a deer.

    Yeah def legal all season. Would make an interesting wood/metal working + backup bow project. Loud though.
