Savage Rifle Stocks

I just got a new Savage 93R17 and do not like the stock. I want to get an unfinished wood stock for it that I can stain and finish myself. Id like to get cherry, maghoney, or maple if at all possible. Anybody know of any good places to buy unfinished stocks?

boyds. i've got an unfinished stock for my mosin from them, pretty sweet. i'm pretty sure they also make the thumbhole stock for the Savage's mark II

OMG... I handled a 93R in .17 HMR at Dick's last week with a Boyd's thumbhole stock... it's VERY nice and VERY comfortable to hold.

I like savage rifles they are shooters at least all I have
I never was a fan of the stocks kinda plain jane
