Contractor work trucks have been getting broken into in MoCo for years. This is nothing new. Criminals have always gone for low hanging fruit.

I bought a new Henry just to throw some money into the gun economy (at least that was how I rationalized it!). There was no one in All Pawn in La Plata when I went in, but I'll tell you their long gun rack was nearly empty! Still had decent selection of hand guns....

It`s been going on for since forever, but it's ramping up now. Not to mention the mysterious gun shots all over the county.
