    Well, new to me, at least. 1980 Ruger Security Six .357 Magnum. I swapped the Rock Island 1911 I just got, but I think I did alright. I’m a sucker for a classic wheel gun.

    GAH! The dreaded "gun swap" loophole!

    I'm not a big revolver-guy, but that one's purdy.

    It's a loophole we use pretty frequently here in North Carolina. I thought I had wanted another 1911, but the Rock Island was a pain in the ass to find holsters for....The Security Six fits in a K frame holster I already had, so that was never an issues. I also have a soft spot for older revolvers. This one is so much smaller than my Smith 586, so it makes carrying it very easy.

    Seeing that Security Six makes me miss my GP-100. Gotta get myself a modern wheel gun again sometime.
