What's good 9x18 (Makarov) ammo

I'm running low on 19 Mak and wanted to resupply. What's a good quality Mak round that won't break the bank?

I bought 500 rds silver bear to shot in my cz 82. I don’t shoot this gun often but over 8 or somyears it has been perfectly fine. Is even JHP. Reasonable, functioning.

There aren't as many choices as in the past. SGAmmo.com has PPU for 10.95 a box which is as cheap as I have found.

Academy Sports house brand, Monarch, is a solid inexpensive 9x18 steel cased round. My "go to" for my P64.

I prefer Red Army Elite. It has brass cases and holds up well for reloading in the P-64.

Good stuff. AIM had a sale on it a few months ago that made it cheaper than steel case.

If you shoot at an indoor range, verify they will or will not take bimetal jacketed (Wolf, tulamo, brown bear, silver bear, red army).
Other than what I have reloaded, I use Herters or PPU. the bimetal russian stuff seems to be dirtier. Plus the powder seems faster and gives more recoil (Especially in the blowback pistols) which is not welcome in my P64.

RAS is my second favorite. Never a misfire or hot load like PP.

Outdoor Limited has Tula 9 Mak for $9.19 a box and their shipping is pretty reasonable.

So far I haven’t met any 9 mak that hasn’t run flawlessly in my Cz82 and P64s. Monarch, Wolf, Tula and Silverbear have all run fine.
