Problems with failure to eject and feed, have tried three different magazines and vigorous operation of the bolt. I have an inquiry in with Savage, but perhaps someone here has had a similar experience. A web search indicates this is not an uncommon problem, but the solution (if any) is not apparent.

No luck with a search here.

    Thanks for the reply.

Son's gun, he shoots 3 inch Remington Accu Tips. Accuracy is good. He has tried vigorous operation of the bolt, no better result re ejection and feeding.

Gun back from Savage, polished bolt and chamber, maybe new extractor, at any rate it feeds and ejects much better.

    Regards
    Jack
