You can also use animal crackers. They are really cheap and can provide a good challenge.

Up at the York Fun Shoot one time one of the stations was Fig Newtons on a wood skewer. Tough little target to hit.

I've shot coffee creamers hung from a string at 50 yards with a .577 Enfield musket, offhand. Also charcoal briquettes.

When I was a kid I shot many stale crackers in my day.

I use the cheap bank drive through lollipop pops sometimes. Take the plastic off and put them in the pre drilled holes in my target stand. They blow apart like crazy.
