How does the wave feature work being that the hook is smaller than the spyderco version?

Not to hijack but I bought my first emerson a mth or so ago and I love it. The wave does take some getting used to but once you have it down its 2nd nature and is deff. faster than an auto. It always gives a distinctive snap when the liner lock "locks".
Great knife and not big by any means for EDC. I seen that a lot while looking around but I dont agree with it at all.

A keltec isn't top of the line. People can buy a bicycle for 3 grand, and say I could buy a car for that much! I respond yes you could buy some older gold nissan with a jesus die cut on it, but it aint gonna be top of the line!

Had a wave once, loved it. Lost it. The damned clip came off. I learned my lesson and now only buy cheapos because the clips always free themselves from the knfe and it gets old shelling out serious cash every few months.
