    Thought I'd share.

Top shotgun is a Spanish SxS I got from a friend's father. Outside of the barrels were rusty due to being left in the attic for 10 years. Some scrubber pads and Krylon and it's a nice 10' gun.

Middle shotgun is a Remington 11-87 P that I got from a guy in TX. It was a corrections dept. trade in. It originally had and 18" IC choke barrel, but I found a 20" Remchoke barrel for it. That's a ported, extra-full turkey choke. The recoil pad feels like a hockey puck.

Bottom shotgun is a Remington 870 Express Super Magnum with Knoxx Spec Ops stock. I can now shoot several 3.5" turkey loads and not have a numb shoulder. It's my turkey gun.

I still want a SPAS-12, but that's going to wait until I sell a couple of revolvers.

Does the knoxx stock include that side saddle shell holder or did you add that? And is it the recoil reducing one or no?

The side saddle and cheek riser come as a separate kit from the stock. And oh yeah, that's a recoil reducer. Before I got that stock, I tried sighting in that red dot with slugs. After 8 rounds, I had enough. And I had a bruise the size of the pad on my shoulder and had a hard time driving. With the new stock, I ran through 20 rounds of 3" magnum buckshot and was looking for more. I think I dropped a total of $160 for the stock and extras and it's totally worth it.

Do you get this side saddle and cheek riser from a brick and mortar store or online through Blackhawk? My local brick and mortar had the recoil reducer for I think $110 or so but I didnt see the side saddle and cheek riser.

    Unspoken,
Check with Gun Connection. I know they carry the Knoxx Stock, and I believe thy have the side saddle. I plan on getting the Knoxx for my 870.

I got both through Midway. They were both less than list price. BTW, some of the local shops carry them, but they run out of the 870 faster than the Mossbergs, so I usually see the empty section of shelf where they are supposed to be.

I've had this living in the overflow safe for a while and found some pics that I had taken a while back. I know that August is a fan, so I decided to post these up. Slicker than snot, modified choke, smokes targets, as long as I do my part. It came with a youth stock, so I had to find a replacement to be able to shoot it. I'd love to find an original standard stock for it.

She wears a Knoxx SpecOps recoil reducing stock, a sidesaddle, a VTAC sling, and a Burris reflex red dot sight.
