Plenty of cases at the Catonsville Sam's (US 40 at Ingleside, just inside the beltway). I saw an entire pallet on the rack and one on the endcap.

The Sams in Waldorf has a display upfront by the cash-registers that was full, for the price their not bad just not up-to-par with a pelican that you would pay 3x the price. Still a good deal for a range carry case.

Of course we don't have a Sam's club in the forgotten Western MD. Looks like Hagerstown is the closest one

Off to the Gaithersburg Sam's Club to get some baby formula and I will report back on the status of these cases being at this location. Back in about an hour with my report.

Thought I was out of luck at the Gaithersburg location but after coming out of the tool and hardware aisle there was a complete pallet on the end cap of the cases. I am now the proud owner of 3 cases, one for me and 2 for gifting. Thanks OP for the post, I shop Sam's Club all the time and never thought to look for anything firearms related besides Recoil magazine.

FYI you can always order it online and either have it shipped to you or pick it up. They just charge you a 10% non member fee , so for this $2.

FYI most of the ones I've seen were in the same isle as the automotive tools, generators and motor oil.

Did also see them up front by the registers last night in Waldorf.
