Why is there no longer a "Delete" button when in "Edit" mode? I need to trim my post count.

You can thank Mr. H for that. He kept deleting posts during his karma event. The mods got so mad because everyone was speculating it was them, so they removed the option.

As for the delete option in posts, I see it in multiple areas of the forum.
I, for one, appreciate the delete function. Saves the mods some time

Hmm.. thought it may be a time-related function, but I guess not..
Some forums only allow deletion for a short period of time, shorter than they permit editing.. but that's the management team's call.
