They're unfortunately on fairly solid ground for now since no court has struck down any magazine ban over 10 rounds that im aware of.

Three Bills Submitted in Hawaii to Ban Semi-Automatic Firearms and Magazines

All semi-automatic firearms and magazines? If not, the court gets really ticked at semantics like that. Listen to the recent hearing from Massachusetts.

The Japanese will defend it; they own most of it already.

Nope, they did in the 80s, but when their economy crashed, they defaulted.

So win-win, US companies sold at top price, then got to buy back at fire sale prices.

It will work as good as New Jersey's magazine ban, Hawaii must want tens of thousands of new "felons" too. The gun banning control freaks can all kiss my ass. Be done with them and all their unconstitutional infringements and bans.

I just checked there is only 1 elected Republican in the Hawaii Senate out of 25 seats, and by default he is also the Minority Leader, and 5/50 in the House. Hawaii should lose their state status, its just a Pacific outpost for the Navy. Should have just made it a US territory like Puerto Rico. What a vermin little state of drugged up Pacific Islanders.

They reject even the most basic norms of the 2A that even states like Maryland, Connecticut, Massachusetts will allow despite being against firearms. The 2A is just not apart of their island culture, their views on firearms are closer to Japan's than the rest of the US.

    Time to buy lever guns...………….

Not saying the courts are not an option but until its resolved...…….good to know you have options for fast handling arms.

Firearms and the US Constitution are outside of the culture of Hawaii. Forcing an outside culture on a native population never goes well.

Sooner or later SCOTUS is going to have to weigh in.

    They already did. Heller.

It certainly won't hurt to have this hit the courts again. The left is going to be throwing the courts so many softballs on the 2A in the near future it is going to be good to have all that precedent. We are going to get tired of all that winning.
