The Patriot Picket will be back at Rep. Maxine Waters' house TONIGHT at 8pm in NW DC to resume our demonstration criticizing Maxine for inciting her followers to engage in disgraceful political HARASSMENT.
Tonight, however, we are leaving the garbage can lids and other noisemakers at home and just bringing our signs for a classic 1st Amendment sidewalk gathering. This, as a response to Rep. Maxine Waters announcing she will cease her public speaking engagements temporarily after her calls for political mobs sparked unacceptable harassment of elected officials and their staffs.
Again, we will engage in a classic informational sidewalk picket with our signs, and make ourselves available to answer questions or respectfully debate anyone who happens by. The corner where we will gather--the intersection of Florida Avenue and S Street NW--is just steps from Maxine's DC home and will have substantial pedestrian traffic as people make their way to restaurants and shopping.
The corner where we will be is a block from the Washington Hilton--which is one of the most notable locales for modern political violence as the spot where Ronald Reagan was shot.
So, again, no noisemakers, just classic 1st Amendment Patriot Picketing. Come join us!
