8 Minutes........

8 Minutes.

Walk into Bedford PA courthouse building, go to door marked “Sheriff”, hand girl behind the counter a 1-page CCW application and $20, have picture taken, receive CCW card, walk out. Start to finish, 8 minutes........ good for 5 years. God bless them...

The strict Constitutionalist in me says that is 8 minutes too long

The pragmatist in me says that is a good model of efficient government

The Marylander in me says that is the single most amazing thing ever and it makes me want to salute

The Ron Swanson in me says that is efficient government work, but it is still government work.

.... I hate this state...... I would definitely move back to America if the reparations weren't so damn good here.

Yeah yeah rub it in for us Marylanders. A coworker of mine did that also as soon as he moved to Littlestown and got his PA drivers license. Just walked into his local sheriff's office and walked out with a CC for self defense. If only it was just as easy for us less unfortunate
