Just got back home from Cabela's in gainesville empty handed.
Apparently a valid MD license and Utah CCW are not enough identification for a shotgun purchase in VA.
The vehicle I drove was in my wife's name so vehicle registration wouldn't work.
Checked the Virginia State Police website when I got home and apparently a valid check with my address would have sufficed for ID #2. (I had one in the car, never thought of it)
Also pulled up my Verizon phone/tv/internet bill on my phone and Cabela's said that was not sufficient either. According to VSP, it is.
My own damn fault for not checking before I went down there and wasted 3.5 hours of my day. :mad54::mad54::mad54:
Called Anglers in Annapolis and while they didn't have one, they can get it within a week. (for the same price as Cabela's)
Ordered it on my way home, I'll have it next week or possibly even Saturday.
    Live and learn.
