It is a serious assault on Free Speech when the RNC and other GOP Factions seek to bar the speech of an official candidate for President in the race for the Republican nomination. Ron Paul is under attack by FOX News and various analysts who actually believe he should be removed from debates and the party itself.

The Republican Party and the RNC are afraid that a real candidate would jeopardize their hijacking of conservative issues. It is clear that a real candidate like Ron Paul would reinstate adherence to the Constitutional intent of government-- a far cry from the current direction the party is being led in.

BUT REGARDLESS of whether you love or hate Ron Paul or the Republican Party, one must stand up for and defend the right to Free Speech. Ron Paul is the FRONT RUNNER in this race-- he won every major poll regarding the first Presidential debate and won the majority of polls pertaining to the second debate aired by Fox News. He came in second place in the FOX poll-- despite ongoing on-air bashing and calls for his removal from the race and the party itself during the poll.

The Republican primary is the tool the people use to decide which candidate will prevail-- it is not the duty of talking heads and pundits to bully and cull candidates who should be decided by VOTERS.

The Republican Party leadership are now officially put on notice that the whole country and world are witnesses to their concerted effort to rig the debate process. Itâ??s not a secret that party operatives are attempting to cheat the debate process and block Ron Paul from appearing in further debates.

The call to ban Ron Paul from further debates is a clear attempt to block the First Amendment and will be seen by the public for what it is -- cheating.

William F. Buckley recently stated that the Republican Partyâ??s very existence is in danger. This new neo-con attack on our electoral process is treasonous and if not reversed, will cause a further mass exodus from the party.

People will not tolerate a Republican party that is anti-American, anti-Free Speech and who continue to undermine the electoral process laid out by the founding fathers and the Constitution.

    PLEASE REPOST THIS FAR

IT HAS GONE LITTLE NOTICED UNTIL I HEARD ABOUT IT ON RON PAUL'S CAMPAIGN WEBCAST THIS EVENING.

FOX NEWS HAS NOW OFFICIALLY DECLARED WAR AGAINST RON PAUL, AS WELL AS, ALL OF US, AND IT IS NOW TIME THAT WE SERIOUSLY TAKE THE FIGHT BACK TO THEM!!!!!!!!

IT APPEARS (FROM THE IOWAPOLITICS. COM WEBSITE) THAT FOX NEWS IS TRYING TO KEEP RON PAUL OUT OF THE DECEMBER 4TH DEBATE IN IOWA !!!

THIS IS FROM IOWAPOLITICS. COM....PLEASE PAY SPECIAL ATTENTION TO LAST PARAGRAPH WHERE IT STATES THAT IN ORDER TO ATTEND THE DEBATE.....

    The candiadates must have:

"Garnered at least 5% of the NATIONAL ELECTORATE as determined by an average of the most recent national TELEPHONE POLLS of registered voters conducted by non-partisan public opinion polling organizations leading up to the registration deadline AS DETERMINED BY FOX NEWS CHANNEL AND THE REPUBLICAN PARTY OF IOWA OR garnered an average of at least 5% in the most recent polls of Iowa voters conducted by the American Research Group and the Des Moines Register."

Republican Party of Iowa: To host presidential debate in Des Moines
    11/6/2007

Debate to be nationally televised by FOX NEWS CHANNEL

The Republican Party of Iowa announced today that it will hold its presidential debate at Hy-Vee Hall in downtown Des Moines. The event, to be held the evening of December 4, 2007, will be the first debate in Iowa to be televised by FOX News Channel this election season, as well as the first debate sponsored by the Republican Party of Iowa.

Republican Party of Iowa Chairman Ray Hoffmann said, "With the caucuses less than a month away, our December 4 debate will be very telling to Iowans and the nation. We are thrilled to be having this event in central Iowa, and right in downtown Des Moines which will be the epicenter on caucus night."

What I am doing is sending Mr. Hoffman an email, ( ray@iowagop.org) and letting him know that if Ron Paul is not on the debate that I will vote for the "WICKED BITCH".

    Ray Hoffmann, Chairman
    Sioux City
    Dear Mr. Hoffman,
I wanted to let you and all of the IOWA folks know that my wife and I are in our early 80s and have always voted Republican. I am letting you know that if you try this criteria garbage whose sole purpose is to eliminate Ron Paul from the debate in December, my wife and I and over 10+ family members have decided that we will not only vote for the "WICKED BITCH OF THE EAST" come 2008, but send her $500 on top of that.

But if you insist on a criteria then it should be on those candidates that have not raised over $4 million dollars in a single day, of which my family did their part. I am a WWII and Korean veteran.
    Capiche!
Robert and Gloria Beckett and family.

The debate will be limited to those candidates who have satisfied the following criteria:

    1. Announced a formal campaign for President: and

    2. Filed the necessary paperwork with the Federal Election Commission; and

    3. Met all U.S. constitutional requirements; and

    4. Garnered at least 5% of the national electorate as determined by an average of the most recent national telephone polls of registered voters conducted by non-partisan public opinion polling organizations leading up to the registration deadline as determined by Fox News Channel and the Republican Party of Iowa or garnered an average of at least 5% in the most recent polls of Iowa voters conducted by the American Research Group and the Des Moines Register.

AND THIS JUST HAPPENS TO COME OUT THE EXACT DAY THAT RON PAUL HAS MADE HISTORY BY RAISING MORE MONEY IN ONE DAY THAN ANY OTHER CANDIDATE!!! !!

THEY KNOW THAT RON PAUL DOESN'T REGISTER IN THESE BOGUS "NATIONAL PHONE POLLS" AND THUS GIVES THEM A PLAUSIBLE REASON TO EXCLUDE HIM FROM THE DEBATE EVEN IN THE FACE OF SUCH OUTSTANDING SUPPORT THAT WAS EVIDENT TODAY!!!

WE ALL MUST DO SOMETHING!!! !!

    DONE!

and some good news from the camp of Brother Ronhttp://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20071106/ap_on_el_pr/paul_fundraising;_ylt=Au5vRGDuV4rqcoeFAvl9nbas0NUE

It would seem that the more they try to silence the man, the more people gravitate to his message. He needs to be in the debate, and we need him to get elected. Decades of voting for the smallest pile o' scat, and pushing "electable" candidates have brought us here to choose between Rudy McRomney, the Hildabeast, or B.O.
    What about Fred Thompson?

Is it the general consensus that he would lose in the primary to Rudy?

The thing I worry about when voting for an independent is splitting the vote and having a Dem win because all of our votes were divided.

    Thoughts?

We're talking Primaries not the final election.

In the Primaries you typically vote for who you REALLY want not for who you would be willing to settle for in order to prevent a Socialist Dem Gun Grabber from taking the office of Pres.

What about him? This guy's off the radar unless he really gets his ass in gear. So far, this has been the biggest non-campaign in history.

    Yeah you are right.

I didnt even think about that.

I just realized now that he is running in the Republican primary. Not as a Libertarian.

Dont mind me I am stupid.

So what the heck are we going to do if Rudy gets the nomination?

I'm not voting the lesser of two evils candidate again, because in this case they're both just as evil.

simple answer, ALL WE CAN, better to Start now though.

I might not be able to single handedly vote a bad rep out, or a good rep in, but I can and do make life as miserable for the bad reps as I can, and support the good ones.

I am already at about the limit of time and money presently that I can afford to spend to fight for the RKBA, while being able to shoot, help out my family, work, and sleep. If the 08 elections go bad, I will do what I have always done, and fight the good fight, if the election goes good, then I will still fight to restore lost rights in MD, and nationally. I am not the type to buy stockpiles of ammo and rifles "cause there gonna be banned" and do nothing about keeping it from happening in the first place.

I wanted to like Fred, until I saw him on Meet the Press last weekend.

He really, really backpedalled on his stance on CCW on college campuses. :sad20:

When has Foxnews bashed Ron Paul? (O'Reilly doesn't count....he needs to go from that network). I watch nearly every day while in the office, and I haven't heard anything negative.
