    I was looking into purchasing a Barrett Rec7 Gen II and I noticed on the MSP regulated firearms web page the below statement. Would this "Not Banned" status apply to the Gen ii as well? Looking at the date of the MSP decision leads me to think it does but wanted to check with those in the know.

    I would think so since it is not a copy of a named banned firearm, nor does it meet the definition of a copycat.
