Chad used to recommend Tubbs buffer springs, im just curious are they now not good?

Suggesting one brand is not a slam on the other.

Tubb only makes the flat wire buffer spring. And yes, it's good.

Sprinco makes all the important ones - ejector, extractor and buffer. They're much better than typical low budget springs.

    Nobody said Tubb was bad.

You quoted a post saying he’s best friends with another spring manufacturer....who he now happens to recommend MORE highly.

Cannot two things both be good and in someone’s opinion one is now better than the other?

Wow you guys are touchy. I was legitimitly asking if someones opinion on something changed for a reason. Maybe they found a problem with something at some point? Maybe i missed something? I didn't say anyone was best friends with anyone..I've just read in the past that Tubbs were the standard for buffer springs

I never said Tubb flatwire springs were no good. Im just saying that Sprinco is another great alternative. Sprinco extractor springs and ejector springs are fantastic.

I use both companies sprngs but for specific purposes.

Yes, Alan from Sprinco is my friend. Im not suggesting the springs because of my friendship. Thats not me.

Thanks for the reply and not putting words in my mouth
I'll have to check out Sprinco's stuff. I've got Tubbs buffer springs in all my ar's from past recommendations. Just making sure they are still gtg

I like Tubbs flat springs, also recommended by Chad in the past. I have not built and AR or replaced a buffer spring in a ittle while.
