Voted for my rights and the only person (besides myself) who will give me the rights back , that was my wife. I was having second thoughts since i early voted. After yesterday mornings fiasco I know I made the right decision.

My vote for governor was a write in. Sorry not sorry, but I couldn’t in clear conscious vote for Hogan after the bs he pulled with the red flag bill. I’d be a hypocrite if I voted for him after being dissatisfied with how he’s treated the 2nd Amendment and gun community. Say what you want about “lesser of the two evils”, but people voting that way for decades is why the country is in the shape it’s in now. I chose to not vote for evil period.

More than a one issue voter so happily voted for Hogan, I have to live in this f-ed up state and he has been good for Maryland, no new taxes while Owemalley had 42 tax and fee raises. Hogan has actually managed some small tax and fee reductions, unheard of in MD. The transportation fund is actually being used to build roads all across the state instead of being stolen like Owemalley did and its being used for roads despite the GA coming up with a Transportation Scoring Bill to take the power away from the Governor.
He has stood up to the GA and vetoed several important bills over the last 4 years, of course they were all overridden by the GA but at least he tried, I'm hoping we pick up enough republican seats to make his vetoes stick.
I also would rather have him in control of the upcoming redistricting and hopefully be done with this badly gerrymandered state that stifles Republican voters.
As far as 2A Hogan has not been bad despite all the name calling from a few on this forum, we went 3 sessions without any anti 2A legislation, probably a record for MD and I think the only reason we got the 2 bills from the last session was the librons trying to find something they could stick on Hogan to use against a popular Governor for this election.
So yea, I happily voted for Hogan and I'm hoping he can do enough good for MD over the next 4 years the we can put Rutherford in next and slowly work to break the Democrat stranglehold on this state.

The long term is the key...

Those who forget that will leave us locked up in the leftists control for decades to come.

I’m crazy surprised at the amount of single issue voters. Honestly i don’t care which way you vote, it’s yours I’m just amazed.

Hate hate hate the red flag bill but Hogan got my vote.

I really hope Wolf gets elected and can do something about Baltimore. 300 dead people a year is absurd.

It's interesting how those of us who voted for someone other than Hogan/Jealous are playing the long game.

Not to be offensive in the analogy...

I am sorry... But it is my firm belief that tossing the ball to a cheerleader on the sidelines... is not playing the long game.

Using the other team to score 2 points in a Touchback IS.

The government we have now is a direct result of choosing the lesser of two evils for generations.

As much as I agree with you in that respect...

HOW, exactly, do we fix that by throwing votes to folks who will NEVER help us?

    Want to change that?

It starts with getting a VIABLE other party candidate into the race. Until THAT day comes... dumping votes into mid air will NEVER benefit us any more than pissing into the wind will keep our pant legs dry.

I voted for the limp-wristed and spineless Governor Larry "Grab'em" Hogan. I'll only be happy about it if it keeps Jealous out.
