    Good read, as usual.

The Bill Drill is basically a sight tracking drill with a focus on recoil control. A lot of people can shoot a round or three just fine, but by round 5 or so their grip becomes compromised. Hence why it is six rounds. Don't confuse a drill with defensive tactics. It's just meant to diagnose grip and sight tracking issues. With a G19 I typically shoot it right at 3.0 seconds from concealment, which isn't anything to write home about.

Yeah, I guess I just feel like that if I was going to include drills to make the most use of my time in class range time, that's not the one I would have picked out. Failure drill, shoot-4, etc. Hell, have a drill where you shoot exactly the number of rounds called out, so you can't just rely on bill drill muscle memory. I will admit that I may be in the minority on my thoughts on this, which I can live with. :)
