OK… this thread hasn't seen any love in a while, so I present to you.... the CA compliant Thompson.
I didn't do it...
...but I bought it with the intention of undoing it
Speaking of C&R ... issat a 45rpm record on the table?

Looks like a Sire records 45
Where is the Bubba on the No 1 rifle? looks good to me.
Like this?
Sportered in a similar fashion to yours. It's a buddy's that I re-did since his skill with wood is less than zero and you have to do a little inletting work with them.
Still missing stacking swivel and the cross-bolt that goes through the nose-cap, but he's order them. Doing the same for his No.4 Mk.1 as well.
Nice
No.4 stocks still seem somewhat available. I'm trying to find a non-Ishapore No 1...without success. I'd really like to find one with the volley sight cut out (I've got a repro volley sight ordered from Numrich...if they ever open again)...but that seems to be dreaming awfully big

"Custom stippling" throughout.
Even the grip screw and escutcheons, and lanyard ring got the treatment.
Unfortunately it's also a pretty rare Spreewerk Zero series.
A truly "WTF were you thinking" moment.
The horror, the horror...

That would have been uncool even when they were $79
