Of course, as others have pointed out, the whole thing presupposes a reality in which the US Army doesn't exist. And a hostile force with the capability to mount an invasion (which doesn't exist either.)

If you really think this is a winning argument in support of the 2A, then you're living in a fantasy and no one is going to take you seriously.

The Russians were doing just fine until in our infinite wisdom we gave the Afgans Stinger Missiles to shoot down their helicopters. Now they are using them against us.
