I was trying to trade this and a 1970 Win Model 94. 400.00 total. The 94 had a little pitting on the receiver and the 7mm had some dents in the wood. This was at a shop. Trying to trade for something else. I have now changed my mind and will keep them both and buy what I want elsewhere.

I didn't know it was at a shop. Given that, its still low, but not as bad as if someone threw that out in a FTF deal. The shop does need to make money on it and it may well be a slow mover in this part of the country.
So, I wouldn't have taken the offer but I would be less offended given that is it a business.

I stood there and looked at what they had on the wall and in some other racks. The same types of rifles in similar condition at about four times as much. I do understand that people need to make money but that was pretty blatant.
