The Llama sorta qualifies , guy told me it wouldnt work with 1911 mags.. it worked great with wilson combat mags.

Colt National Match Mid-Range

Pretty neat 1911, a 1961 Colt National Match in .38 Special Mid-Range (full wadcutter).

Still has original barrel (a lot of early guns had the barrel upgraded) and beveled recoil plug unique to the early Natl' Match.
Unfortunately no box or papers... and no spare mags, which are damn expensive.

Got it to the range this afternoon and ran 50 rounds through it flawlessly. Yes, they probably should have caught the problem before shipping it to me, but they jumped on it and made it right in record time and threw in the magazine "sweetener".

lol I'm not crapping on the llama but I've gone to at least 10 shootings where someone shot themselves with a llama

is that about the llama? if so i dont get it cause ive seen them sell for near 400 on GB and it works with 1911 Mags.

Refers to the magazines for somd_mustang's 1961 Colt National Match that shoots .38 Special - not the Llama.

I've only seen one of those 1911's once but never got to shoot it. It's an amazing find!

another seller has a pair, one factory and one not, for $300.
