Have had a Geissele National Match on backorder from optics planet since March and now they don't expect it until August. Anyone have one of these laying around they want to sell or know of a comparable trigger?

Take a look at Wisconsin Trigger Company. They are making the Milazzo triggers. I have had an original from back when Charlie Milazzo was making them and it is excellent.
I have not touched the adjustment since I installed it about 20 years ago. The feel is comparable to Geissele.

Optics Planet changed hands last year I believe. I got shafted by them and won't buy from them again. It appeared to me that they don't purchase stuff until you make an order. When I had problems with the stuff I bought, they told me to deal with the place they bought it from. Never again.

I second the Krieger Milazzo triggers. I have one and it is built like a Swiss watch and is crisp as glass.

I've had generally good experiences with them. They do stock much of their own inventory, but I believe they have direct to consumer agreements with many companies (Radian I believe). I've ordered Radian parts from them which have always taken at least twice as long to ship and to arrive.

It's hard to argue with their pricing though. It's rare to find something at a lower price than with OP. Midway is my go to when I need something faster.

I don't think Optics Planet or Botach are bad businesses in the sense that they're trying to defraud people. I've bought things from both and had good experiences. What they're both guilty of is saying that have something when they in fact do not, and then months and months pass by before you see that item if ever. So much so, that Botach has become a verb on the internet, Optics Planet is not too far behind.

These guys let you add it to your cart, might call make sure they have it

It is a nice trigger and highly recommend it.

If you want a Geissele, I would contact them direct, I have had great experiences dealing with them direct.

The Larue trigger as a temporary option . They might not make 4.5 lbs though as I've read accounts of them being lighter in pull than advertised. Never measured any of mine.

The Milazzo trigger has me intrigued.

One of Geissele's former employees works for WTC. If I were looking for a really good trigger now, I would take a serious look at the Milazzo trigger. I have used a lot of different triggers over the years and the only one I have not had to tweak after the initial adjustment was my original Milazzo. WTC even guarantees the originals that were made by Charlie Milazzo. Their regular price is lower than Geissele, even when you can find Geissele on sale. Reviews are good over on the USRifleTeams National Match Forum.
