Just got it without paying too many arms and legs.

What 9mm ammo should I use to break-in the rifle?

Congrats!! If you have 147gr, that's what I would recommend. All I have is 115gr 9mm so my break in is taking a little while. I'm up to 300 rounds and getting fewer and fewer FTEs. Definitely take the bolt out and thoroughly clean and lube. Keep me posted on your break-in as I am curious how long yours will take.

Not UMC as mine wont light the primers and it jams on federal frangible (as do many other things). Everything else is awesome.

I have the same rifle and like it very much. Don't worry too much about ammo, they are NOT ammo sensitive at all - anything will run it.

Be prepared for some slight discomfort during the first shooting session, however, until you get used to it. The recoil (yes, I just said recoil when speaking about a 9mm rifle) is unexpected, and your cheek will get a little red and beat up from the tube-stock. Other than that, it's a neat little gun.

Nice! I have been looking for one. Can you tell us your secret on where you got it and how much you paid?

Be careful taking the bolt out. Make sure that the hammer is cocked. Otherwise you will have a very hard time getting it back together. The manual has a warning about that. I learned the hard way :0

Mine eats anything and works great with te cheap 33 rd fake flock mags.
