    It seems like it's a semi mixmaster rifle, but still pretty solid.
    Now I have to verify that it's okay to shoot. But don't have the knowledge or tools to check myself.

    I'd be curious to see how many a3's were used enough to need a re barrel. I'd suspect that they are a minority of the rifles out there.

    Agreed. And is be willing to bet more probably fell fate to corrosive ammo than # of rounds down the tube.
