The MOM I was talking to in the pic was a complete loon, constantly telling us where she was from and her dad shoots deer but other then that she was pretty much incoherent. The MOM to my right came over as back up when it was obvious that the 1st MOM was loosing the battle. The MOM to my right just about lost the rest of her marbles when she asked if I kept my firearms locked up from my kids, and my response was that my 15yr old daughter likes to shoot competitively. She could not deal with that and walked away.

God no. At least Jen and Liz could look good after a few beers. The few old ladies that were there today were downright manish looking.
County Police said that the Panera had no idea anything was planned. Apparently the party was a surprise to them.

Did Ramirez set up shop inside or was he just there? If he had tables with literature, then the owner knew. Also, how did 6 cop cars know to be there? Did the Moms Demanding Safe Spaces tip them off?

As for PG and MDA, Ramirez's office likely dropped the dime on that.
AFAIK, Panera isn't a franchise operation, but I'll have to check with someone I know that Manages a few of their locations before I can say that 100%.

I took it as the business didn't know we would be there to appose his point of view. And I'm sure MOM's asked for the safe space. I will say that is great to see that we can mobilize a large group in a short time frame. Proud to stand with everyone.

Not a set up like you might see at a trade show, just 2 or 3 folks with Ramirez tee shorts walking around handing out flyers. Coffee was dispensed from jug at two small tables pushed together.
It appeared that if it weren't for us and the moms who need some action, no one would have shown.
I know not everyone can make every event, but for you guys who never show, you're missing out. 'Twas great fun telling Ramirez while i shook his hand that, while I couldn't vote against him until he ran for state office, I'd be giving money to his opponent.
It was great seeing new faces as well as familiar faces . Great presence in PG County , I want to say Thank You to all that made the trip

It was certainly great to get out and join the cause today! I suspect a few of the MDA moms were horrified to see a young woman on the opposing side.

Was great seeing all of you there today! My son and I had a great time! Not gonna name names but we changed a few hearts and minds there today from people on the other side. One guy came up to me personally and whispered to me that he voted for Trump. That right there tells you the difference that we made! I am certainly going to be there for the next one on Saturday! I will bring my son again and I'll try to get a few more people to join us! Today's turnout was amazing! We were really rocking the place! Mommy's that Demand Action didn't stand a chance. They are not even on our level! I asked Ramirez questions that he really obviously didn't any answers to. Great job to everyone! Wish I could have stayed longer than I did but issues were coming up at work that I had to address. See you guys next week!
