OP is probably an armed security guard or something along those lines. He's applying based on his work and apparently is being sponsored ( I don't know a lot about this) ? Just seems kind of odd that you say 'work purposes' in one thread then come here and say you put 'personal protection'.

There was someone one MDS pimping armed security guard "sponsorship" as a way to get a Maryland Handgun Permit.

I tried to talk at least one of them out of it. The logic seemed similar to how I become an ordained minister with the Universal Life Church.

I know how to blacklist usernames. I only wish there was a way to hide/blacklist some threads that will not go away.

I really don't know what OP's intentions were. I can say what I felt. I felt the whole thread was misleading people. But that's just me.

I'm working on a Chrome extension for that. I'll post it on the forum when I'm done. While I like 90% of the posts on this forum, that other 10% need to be hidden like crazy.
