    Hi,

I was recently going through my old stored stuff, and found two dozen Orlite 30 round AR magazines.

I purchased these in the 1980s, and to my recollection they worked reliably. Back then, I had filed off the skirts so it would fit into my rifle. The skirts was to prevent sand or dirt from getting into the magwell, but I needed to file them down to fit my individual rifle. Anyway, used one or two of them, the rest just went into storage.

When I do an internet search, I find they are not considered very good. The followers are not the modern anti-tilt ones, and some said the lips can fail.

    So, here is the question:

Do I just throw these out in the trash?

Or are these useful and desirable for people in highly restrictive states???

    Regards

    Where they send me.
I would use them if you have a rifle they take.

If ones fails pull the spring out as you may want that for another mag and pitch the rest unless someone wants to give you enough for them (and you can legally get them to that person). Being old and filed on they may not be worth much.

Selling them on gunbroker sounds like a good idea. Probably best to wait until after the election - might go up in value depending who wins.

    Here is another question:
Can I sell them to someone in another state via the internet, and then mail it to them from a Maryland post office? Or do I need to drive to a post office in another state to mail them?

I would list them on gunbroker. Massachusetts people might buy them.

I just opened another box in the basement.....more Orlite Magazines.

I have 40 of them. Some have the price sticker on them.

In the 1980s I purchased 40 of these for around $14.50 each.
    What was I thinking?
