    Just traded two SKS rifles for this Colt 6721. It was upgraded with a free float rail, a low profile gas block and a different flash hider. He also gave me all the origional parts but with the exception of the flashider I kind of like it as is. Thoughts?

    That doesn't look like the right upper for the 6721.

    He removed the original rail and gas block and replaced them with a low profile gas block and MWI rail. I have the original parts that came with the trade.

    Ah, I got mislead by that. It's still a nice rifle, and the pony on the receiver is distinctive.


    Nice rifle. I would throw the factory parts back on it and shoot it. But that’s personal preference. I like them standard.

    This. For me the raised front sight is what makes the AR distinctive.
