Just because you keep your 9mm’s under 400yards and limit your thinking doesn’t mean I do.

How consistently can you hit at 400+? What’s the velocity like at that distance? I felt like I was lobbing 30 carb rounds at 300. Just because you can doesn’t mean you should.

    I’m having a r/guns reddit flashback.

I’m guessing 400yds will be sort of like artillery. Dial up 80moa and fire.

This has inspired me to slap a big proper scope on one of my .22 LR rifles and try sending some li'l boolits out to 400 yards. Long distance plinking forever!

At 400 you don't need a scope. Just aim it over your head and watch the beaten zone. Be careful, they'll be going slow enough for ground hogs to catch them and start throwing them back!

You're gun, your ammo, your choice. Let 'er rip! :party29:

    I just ran JBM.

With a Hornady 115 grain FMJ. at 1180 FPS, and a 25 yard zero, at 400 it is only 286.9 inches (23.9 feet) of drop. 68.5 MOA come up. :D

A SERIOUS rainbow out there. 375 yards is 244.3 inches and at 425 it is 333.8. So some 4 feet of change in drop per 25 yards range difference.
