I noticed that the other day. I wish they carried 2 3/4 dram loads.

Oh, nice. Thanks for letting us know. Seems like the price of ammo across the board is starting to relax.

    In the boonies of MoCo
Today the Westminster Walmart had 1oz. 8s and 7 1/2s for $4.74 /box--$47.50 /flat---dove loads and they recoil a bit less

Germantown Wal-Mart is selling game and target load 100 packs of both winchester universal and federal for $20 and change /100. Nothing crazy cheap, but inexpensive and in stock.

They have Estate 1oz 2 3/4 dram loads and 1 1/8 3 dram loads for $5.48 a box, still pretty cheap, shoots and patterns WAY better out of everything I have tried them in, on par with Rem gun clubs or Win AAs. only problem is they are individual boxes on the shelf, and they tend to have a flat or fewer, but restock regualry, I have bought all they had a few times. Sometimes my LGS Trop has them on sale for $50 a flat, so I stock up, on the same stuff. Their bulk federal shells do OK, but aren't as consistent and occasionally stick, the Winchester bulk packs usually suck in both pattern and reliability.

Winchester bulk is not great. Federal is better. I'm gonna try the estate stuff. Suprema was ok too.

I have better success with federal ejecting from my 870 properly. The Winchester steel likes to stick in the chamber a little if I don't wait 2 seconds or so to rack the slide. About 20% chance of getting a stove pipe if I run it fast. On the other hand, since it uses cardboard wads, the barrel is a lot easier to clean. Federal might group better and run better, but the plastic wars always leave residue that is a B to clean out of the barrel.

So hunting I use federal, but target shooting I generally use Winchester. Or actually Herters runs great, pretty clean and no sticky shells. So I stock up on that when I go by Cabela's.

Which I am getting close to due for my twice annual trip up to DE.

Oh yeah, Rio also runs like a raped ape in my 870, so I buy plenty of that when it is sale. My Winchester 370 also loves the stuff. Target, buck and field all.

Stopped in at Owings Mills Walmart today to get some of these shells. They are back up to 19.56.

That said, they did have four Bucket of Bullets (1400 rounds of .22 lr) for $73.46 each. I do believe that the .22 LR shortage is officially over.

That's a great price! I just took the leap into Winchesters AA rebate world. Academy has them reduced to 7.49/box with no tax free shipping. After rebate five cases will ring in at 5.49/box. Good tournament shells

I had bought a bunch of estates a while back too or I'd be all over this deal OP.

DSG in Frederick has Remington Gun Club target loads (7-1/2 and 8's) at $5.49 on sale. Add in the Remington $1/box rebate and it's down to $4.49/box and has a purchase limit and max rebate limit of 20 boxes.
