It's not a "suppressor" because it cannot be used to suppress a "firearm." It's the same deal with the pellet guns with integral suppressors that are non NFA.

    Anyone going to get one?

Interesting to say the least. I hope to god the whole thing comes apart because I don't even want to imagine trying to clean it after 5 or 10 rounds. I won't buy one but if somebody has one I would definitely shoot it.

It doesn't look like it comes apart, which is probably intentional. If you were able to pull apart the baffle stack from the front, the ATF might not like that since they consider baffles to be suppressor parts and regulated. In the FAQs, it says Blackhorn 209 is the only approved powder, probably because it's noncorrosive.

All I shoot now is Blackhorn 209 and I'll say it is an improvement over everything else I've shot but it's still not "clean". Or even close to as clean as smokeless powder. Guess you just dunk the can end of the barrel in a 5 gallon bucket of hot water a few times and hope for the best? Wonder if CVA or someone will jump on this train and come out with one? I'd probably buy one for $500, but not the $1,000 SiCo wants. Also can we get this in a pistol????? :D

I like this video because it is a quick comparisson of the difference between the smoke and the sound between the two.
They quickly go back and forth between the two at the end of the video.

This guy even goes so far to run it subsonic and compare velocity with charges

I'd like to see this gun with a heavy hollow point bullet going subsonic.

In that first video there was certainly a difference in the recoil between the two.

Unfortunately they also changed charge between the two shots, so not sure how much of the difference was the suppressor.
