I"m curious about 2 things.

1) There was once a bill that allowed someone with a Pre Oct 2013 Lower/banned item to get a replacement if that lower/banned item broke. What happened to that?
EDIT, NM I see HB0059 died in committee

2) Also, the Hunting Apprentice license (ABOUT TIME!) Looks like it has broad support if I"m reading that correctly. Va has an apprentice license and I think this is a great way to get kids interested in hunting! If I'm reading the website correctly, this is likely to go into effect before the end of the summer?

HB 1427 Apprentice Hunting - Effective Date

If signed by the Governor (it will be) the bill becomes law on July 1, 2017.

Looking forward to that apprentice license! My son is just at that age where I was thinking this fall or next to try to get him his license.
