Hello I was wondering what the going rate for a deal on 5.56 would be. I've found some federal xm193 55gr for 43¢ a round but not sure if that's good

It's... decent. The most I'd pay is $0.40/rd with free shipping (or cheap shipping), but that's my personal preference. Two years ago the highest I'd pay was $0.30/rd, but these days $0.40/rd isn't that bad considering just a few months ago it was hard to find it for under $0.50/rd. Heck, during the peak it was up to $0.75-$1/rd when you could find it.
TLDR: If you need ammo to shoot it's not a bad price, but it's not a price I would stock up on.

I think it's an okay deal. I seem to recall there was some IMI M193 that came and very quickly went at .36 cpr in the last week.

I've shot a lot of tula and wolf (steel and brass in the case of wolf) that shot fine and was accurate for getting sighted in and practice.

I've bought a good deal of steel-case Russian for $5.99/20, and a whole bunch of brass Independence (Israeli) 5.56, which I really like, for $6.99. I got some from Palmetto and some more from Cabela's, I think. The latter works out to $0.35/rd.

I'd buy this if I didn't just buy 1000 rounds in a similar deal.
The wolf brass cased is decent stuff. I bought it somewhere at $350/k so recently so its out there to find for .35ish.
