Going rate for 5.56 ammo in 2014?

    Hello I was wondering what the going rate for a deal on 5.56 would be. I've found some federal xm193 55gr for 43¢ a round but not sure if that's good

    It's... decent. The most I'd pay is $0.40/rd with free shipping (or cheap shipping), but that's my personal preference. Two years ago the highest I'd pay was $0.30/rd, but these days $0.40/rd isn't that bad considering just a few months ago it was hard to find it for under $0.50/rd. Heck, during the peak it was up to $0.75-$1/rd when you could find it.

    TLDR: If you need ammo to shoot it's not a bad price, but it's not a price I would stock up on.

    I think it's an okay deal. I seem to recall there was some IMI M193 that came and very quickly went at .36 cpr in the last week.
