I am still up in the air about getting mine. Fortunately the items I currently want, I do not need the HQL.

I don't. If I were to get another hand gun. I'd be stepping to another caliber. Which means another thousand rounds and simply be collecting because it's cool. If the FN FiveSeven isn't already on the "Scary Foreign Gun No Buy" list. :sad20: Other than that, I really don't need the pointless O'Mally HQL hassle. I need a MD CCW more.

    The Five-Seven beckons you.

While the HQL sucks, not getting a desired item sucks even more.
That said, if you manage to get a MD CCW, the HQL is issued upon request.

If I didn't get the HQL, I wouldn't be loving my Glock 26 and I wouldn't have something to comfortably carry where legal.

I do not have one, however I do feel a craving for a long-slide Glock or a 1911. Does make it tempting.

    Get your C&R 1911 or 1927 :)

Nope still dont have a id to vote no need for a HQL

I don't, but I don't need one. If I needed one than I probably wouldn't buy handguns for a while.

I bet its cheaper to build from an 80% than buy a C&R 1911
    Yup.

Hit the Googles. 80% 1911 paperweights available from several sources. Double stack ParaOrd 80% clones should be out soon. There is already an 80% STI 2011 paperweight available in steel and Al.

I regret not getting a S&W .357 revolver before the enactment of FSA2013.

I just cannot in good conscience purchase a HQL.

Eventually, FSA2013 will be repealed, or the HQL will be no longer required, or I will establish residency in a free state.
