My Dad had a bunch of Malaysian 5.56 he bought in the late 80s. Excellent quality hot ammo.

Malaysian things that travel through the air have a tendency to go astray.

You may experience flyers that are hard to locate.

Shot about 80 rounds a few weekends ago in a F/A Belgian BAR. Brass case, Berdan primed, NC, no misfires, no FTE, just always went bang. Good stuff.

I ordered one too. Add a $4.95 "signature fee" and 3% for CC. Still, it's cheaper than the stuff I was buying a couple years ago.

AIM has Korean surplus 7.62 for about a penny more that is boxer primed and reloadable. I think all the Malaysian is berdan primed. Even if you dont reload, selling the korean brass will come out ahead.

I tried to deprime Hirts and it kept pulling the decapping pin from my RCBS die. The flash hole appears smaller than the usual boxer flash hole.

Malaysian looks to be cheaper here. $210 w/ free ship code A1080. $210/540=$0.389/rd. (compared to $125/300=$0.416/rd for the orig post)

The flash hole is smaller... spin and polish your decapping pin to a slightly smaller diameter.
