I received my custom presentation case for my Savage S/N #78 M1907 Military Trial Test
.45, Glenn Dean at "Classic Chests and More" surpassed my expectations. Walnut case with wood from a Holly tree used in the medallion, a buff colored suede material was used for case lining.

You are seriously into Savage autos! That's a beautiful example, worthy of the display case. I won't ask what you had to shell out for either, I have a pretty good idea what the 1907 is worth! Has to be the pinnacle of Savage auto collecting. I'm glad that back in the day trials pistols didn't get melted down into scrap if they weren't adopted. Thus we collectors have Savage and Luger trials pistols to dream about 110 yrs later.

....and the Colt 1905/07 trial gun, which is my personal unicorn :)

That's a gorgeous case (and gun too of course!), I assume that was custom-built?

Thanks for the comments. I'm glad the 1907's weren't scrapped as well!

Thank you! The case was custom built with my input by Glenn Dean of "Classic Chests and More" out of Chester VA. The case turned out exactly as I had it laid out in my head, Glenn is simply amazing and an artist at his craft for sure!

He has a website but the majority of his work is showcased on his Facebook page.
