Carrying a gun offers genuine security

I'm no expert, but it seems to me that the Lucy Liu Kill Bill fantasy engendered by martial arts training such as krav maga featured in The Sun's article "How to disarm a bad guy" (July 27) may do more to jeopardize than to protect those (especially women) who embark on such programs by giving them a false sense of security.

As a reasonably unfit middle-age man, I daresay that relatively few women (even among those who have taken such programs) could defend themselves against me, much less against those who might attack them.

For not only a sense of security but true security, buy and learn to properly use a handgun, and get a concealed-carry permit.
