Not a chance that's going to happen, unless the landscape changes in dramatic and unexpected ways.

The anti-Trump Republicans are losing strength, not gaining.

Let's hope that the weak turn out is a sign that some of those Dems are walking away from their party. Hogan really has good shot at winning and he is a much better selection than Jealous and Frosh.

Presidential year election dynamics can be very different than off-year elections.

And voting history in Maryland has shown that less than 65% of those that voted in the Presidential election, vote in the state election 2 years later. Presidential votes are in no way a predictor of state votes in Maryland.

And BTW, if the above were true, then please explain why the Republicans have continually picked up seats in the House in the last two elections (7 in 201 and 8 in 2014)?

We are only talking about Merry-Land here not the rest of the country...

Merry-Land has not elected or ADDED ANY new Republicans in DC...

Do you know how many total Republican Congressmen & Senators that Merry-Land has in Washington DC in 2018..?

The answer is EXACTLY ONE = Andy Harris...

There are 7 Democratic Congressmen & 2 Democratic Senators...

I certainly hope that Hogan wins a 2nd term, but I put the odds at 50 / 50 depending on NEW Voters, Turnout & how Agitated the Dems become by November...

U.S. REPRESENTATIVES FROM MARYLAND
Andrew P. Harris (R), 1st Congressional District
C. A. Dutch Ruppersberger III (D), 2nd Congressional District
John P. Sarbanes (D), 3rd Congressional District
Anthony G. Brown (D), 4th Congressional District
Steny H. Hoyer (D), 5th Congressional District
John K. Delaney (D), 6th Congressional District
Elijah E. Cummings (D), 7th Congressional District
Jamin B. (Jamie) Raskin (D), 8th Congressional District

Wanna get pissed - look at how gerrymandered those election districts are! Andy wouldn't be in there if the Bay wasn't protecting the First District from the Democrat gerrymander.

The First District is the result of the gerrymander rather than an exception. Every stray Republican in the state that could be rounded up was put in that district.

The Martymander is killing us in the Congress. Public sentiment has no bearing in reality there. It's baked in.

The GA is a bit more accessible, as we've seen the past couple cycles. Get people informed, get good names in the public eye, and (especially with the D's primary losses) there is a REALLY good chance to upset the beer wagon

Miller and Busch (or at least their cronies) can be turned over.
