    So I was chatting with a little known police/gun shop owner about the G43X and 48. Said I would buy one so It could go to the board in March.
    She told me there's no need because a Glock Rep had already gotten 1 of each to them.

    Never heard of a factory Rep getting samples to the board. Always thought it was numbskulls like us going through an LGs. Not that I have ever gotten too involved in the process, so who knows.

    I don't know why they wouldn't. It would seem like a good marketing plan. Can't sell them here until they're on the list

    That's what I always thought as well. It's the small or botique manufacturer that typically requires a buyer doing the leg work. I saw a 1911 I like, and not one of that company's handguns is on the roster.
