Archery shops near Silver Spring/Columbia
...there are none...the ones I go to are:
Mike of Bay Country Archery sells Mathews bows and works on all types of bows. Very knowledeable and his shop has everything an archery hunter needs:

For Bowtech and Hoyt bow sales, I go to Macrotech who has a good selection of archery goodies. The owner will give you an earful on bows that he does not sell. Knows his stuff though...
Bass pro is good for beginner archery hunters who want inexpensive bows and dont need the professionalism and high end hunting bows that the archery pro shops can provide.
