Guys... The man requested "no bitching"...

We have IPs in this show that deserve (y)our support. No matter if the promoter is on or off of your 2015 Christmas list. If you want to protest the promoter and his ammo sales friend... Just walk right past the ammo tables and go see Lee, Lou, the folks from FreeState and others who can use your support there.

I'm in the "its good for our community" side of things.

Also I'm dying to know what kind of awesome and tempting stuff Shooters Discount is going to have. They've always got the best table and as such are always my first stop.

Will Shooters Discount have those pretty laminated Mosin Nagants this time around? I couldn't find a single old war horse at the last Timonium show I attended.

But I did come in the last hours of the last day. So I may have just missed the boat. A buddy wants one for his collection.

Generally, I am pretty critical of the "socks and jerky" shows in the area. Timonium tends to be better than most. However, I would encourage folks to check this show out. Here's why:

The 'ammo panic' is over, stock is available at good prices.

The MD SB 281 panic is over. Everything is cash and carry now. The MSP has been pretty reasonable on their execution of the law. If you are serious 'gun enthusiast' I have to believe you got your HQL.

AR lowers.

LE trade-ins.

Sorry bro, that's BS. Just because somebody is in the firearms business doesn't mean they automatically get a pass for questionable business practices. If there are issues with this show, I want to know about them before I waste my time and money. I don't know what drama has happened previously with this show, but your fear of criticism means I most definitely will NOT be at this show.

Sorry lee2. I don't know if you have a dog in this fight, but I am skipping shows from these sponsors as well. It is clear the customer is not their priority. I will be going directly to my LGS, or to the Chantilly show.

I detest corrupt business practices that screw the customer.

You can request we don't talk about anything....but at las you have no power to enforce what we discuss.

Sorry...but if they are in fact banning folks who sell ammo at a lower rate then another vendor who may or may not be his friend I believe it's a talking point.

Maybe if they see a thread with folks not coming they will reevaluate their practice.

I just got into reloading shotgun shells so I will be looking for powder, shot etc. Is there a vendor here that will be present for the show, or if someone could recommend for which company to look for? much appreciated :thumbsup:

but lets not turn it in to bitching on md shows or the people running the show?
Md shows are not what they used to be but we still have gun shows.
i always find something or just spend time with my son talking guns.
