    Hello,
I was out at the AGC yesterday and was chatting with an old timer. I mentioned that I was putting a Butler Creek folder on my 10/22. He then mentioned that he wasn't 100% certain, but that he thinks it would be illegal in Maryland. I did some investigation on the web and mdshooters but couldn't find a definitive answer. Maybe it's a grey area that should be avoided. Any thoughts?

    Juuuuust over the line
As far as Maryland is concerned, only centerfire rifles can be made evil. They are fine with anything you can do to a rimfire. (Of course you still have to be aware of NFA, suppressed or <16")

Maybe he was thinking of a Ruger mini 14, which may be banned with a folding stock.

Because of this guy's antics -

Folding stock is also one of the evil features.

But they only apply to CENTERFIRE, SEMI AUTO rifles.
