Day 10 nothing checked off got the CJIS letter 5-6 days after finger print, before applying and after reading others I already assumed 3 weeks minimum

My friend submitted his around 2 weeks earlier and just recently had several items checked off but still incomplete as of 11/2.

Day 14. Submitted 10/14. Most checked on 10/31. Waiting on 4 items that are listed as incomplete. Trying to buy before thanksgiving week. Going to be close.

Might head over this week to pick out. Deciding between the 3-FNX. 9, 40, 45.

Question I thought of recently, in order to buy a handgun does the physical card need to be in hand?

Or can the system/dealer see your HQL and you don't have to wait for physical to arrive then go purchase while finally waiting the 8 days to pick-up from day of purchase?
If so maybe by Christmas I'll actually have my glock in my possession :\

Got mine back in March 2016. The website stated they had up to 4 weeks to process and deliver the card. And it took 4 weeks.
I also anxiously checked the checklist thing online and it did not update at all. Card simply arrived in the mail in 4 weeks.
Looks like they are speedier now.

Any luck on your card in the mail. Trying to gauge wait time for card to show up. Going hunting in WV and want to have handgun before thanksgiving week. Of course after card have to wait 7 days.

    Approved 11/3

All requirements met and submitted 10/12/2016 via the MSP system using an Apple Macbook with Safari browser in 'Internet Explorer 10 User Agent' mode. (Developer menu setting)

Fully approved with an active date of 10/27. (15 days)

Card in hand 11/4. (8 more days) Total time: 23 days. :)

Not so bad once you have ALL the ducks in a row and have the info-tech knowledge to make the silly system work, especially considering that the new request volume is off the hook leading up to the election.

'Truth in lending' statement: I used a DD-214 Honorable Discharge from the USMC and I have a clean backgroud other than an 11 year old DUI.

Best of luck to all, hang in, it will happen.
