I have 2 VP's that wear the Garmins every day. They both are triathletes. The watches they wear look fine. Not sure of the model, nut the are like a big round smart watch.

Lol I'm far from a triathlete, but nice to know. I wore it during the interview so maybe I'm ok

Take a look at the Hamilton Jazzmaster line. Nice watch for the money and some look very nice with a suit.

Would recommend a Hamilton, the GPW offizier I posted a pic of, Seiko Alpinist if you have small wrists.

Can't say enough good things about NTH watches(if you like to watches) especially the devil ray. Love mine so much that I picked up the limited edition Deep Six model recently

That is nice for sure and I understand they hold value very well and appreciate at times.

The problem is, I'm a cheap bastard and no way I could spend $5k+on a watch. I think my limit is probably $500, thanks for the suggestions already folks.

Seiko SRP777 on a steel bracelet. A workhorse and a nice looking watch to boot.

This arrived today in the mail. 1954 Doxa. Doxa watches were worn by Jacques Cousteau, Clive Cussler (and his fictional hero Dirk Pitt), and Robert Redford in 1975’s “Three Days Of The Condor”.

There isn't much I don't love about this watch.
It is crazy light. The flat T100 is super bright. The band and case just are so comfortable and don't ever feel hot or cold. It's like not having a watch on.

Always neat watches in this thread but until I retire it's pretty much IronMan or G-Shock for me because sure as sh!t the first time I wore a nice one on duty somebody would want to fight and the watch would get destroyed.

I met a Philadelphia police officer in the airport last fall, he was helping us not get shit on by TSA as we were declaring firearms. I noticed he had a Submariner on, commented (jokingly) how it was a nice piece to have on an Officers salary. He played along and said he had bought it a few years into being on the force,....when he still lived at home.

That's one of the main things people don't understand (or accept) about higher end timepieces, they absolutely hold and most times increase in value over time.

And,.... they're generally very durable. I've smacked mine a few times HARD, slowly looked down expecting carnage,.. not a mark on it.
