Just picked up the optic I wanted for my Tavor. As a bonus, AJ fitted my Arsenal with an Ultimak. Thanks Engage! :thumbsup:

Playtime with the Hebrew hammer at myrtle grove this afternoon

Along with a large cup of DD coffee , new ports , surplus 7.62x54r and a PSL

The large coffee produces quality piss so that I can pee down the barrel and neutralize those corrosive salts.

The PSL worked really well today. Vaporized bits and pieces of clay pigeons at the berm.

Also played with an 18" Tavor with open sights.

Lesson for the day.

At 25 yards. zero the tavor to group( poi) 3.5" below point of aim and it was dead on at 100 yards. ( Iron sights).

Not hating on the Tavor, but a claimed 20,000 units sold pales in comparison the the 2 million plus ARs, and God knows how many Mini-14s that have been sold in the US. So yes, to claim that it is america's new favorite rifle after 1 year on the civilian market is a little premature to me. I think that at year 1 plus, we still have the honeymoon fever like we did with the SCAR/ACR/HK416...

Personally, I can't wait to read all the ARX100 love posts that will soon be posted.

Also, isn't the IDF going back to the AR now?

So..... You want us to rave about another AR? Which, BTW.. You cant get in MD unless its an HBAR.

The bullpup concept had been around for many years, but it has been plagued with numerous issues. Most are just standard rifles recessed in a bullpup chassis with a simple trigger linkage.
The Tavor has resolved many if those issues. The fuzz is all about finally having a bullpup design that works. Shoot one and see for yourself why this new rifle is gaining support.

Every mall ninja who watches james yeager hates the tavor because they think they are "operators". Sometimes i feel like im the only who one likes ALL guns because they are cool. Scar if you ever come out west Ill feed you and keep you in plenty of beer if you let me play with a few of your toys.

No. They're rather satisfied with the Tavor, and have even switched their reservists over to it. The X95 is still evolving, but looks promising.
