    alucard, I've always admired your writing and well thought out, reasonable approach even if I didn't always agree with your conclusion. I consider you as much a friend as I can anyone who mostly associate with through a semi-anonymous internet bulletin board. That said, you're going to make me spend money I don't need to spend right now for toys that I don't need... :)

    Thanks J, likewise, it's your fault I developed a taste for sushi. I was perfectly happy with a burger and fries just about everywhere I went.

    You have to get a new knife, they are tools, therefore like guns, you never actually "waste" money on them, it's investing:D

    Plus Spyderco is awesome, this was my first, a Rescue I picked up over 20 years ago, it was in my pocket constantly, I beat the hell out of it for the decade I was an auto tech, even though the blade was worn out years ago and it's no longer serrated, I still use it to open boxes and cut tape. Still holding together, still locks up tight, despite dozens of newer, flashier knives in my pocket and on my shelf, it still works.
